5A Unit 9  Shapes

    (第一课时)

一、 教学内容: U9 Shapes Part A

二、 教学目标:

1.  掌握单词和词组:shape, Art, teach, circle, rectangle, square, the sun, the moon

2.      能听懂、会说、会读日常交际用语:Come to the blackboard and show us how to do it.

三.教学重点难点:初步了解掌握句型:What shape is the… ?  It’s a …

四. 教学过程

Step 1:重难点突破  

T:  Hello, boys and girls. Nice to meet you. What’s in the plate? Do you know?

Wow, there are some rubbers. Look at the rubbers. They have different shapes. 这些橡皮

有着不同的形状。(PPT呈现单词shape, 带读)

T:  What shape is the rubber?   It’s a circle. (PPT呈现句子,出示单词卡片,教circle)

T:  How about this rubber? What shape is it?  It’s a square. 它是正方形的。(教square

T:  Look at this rubber. Is it a square, too? 它也是正方形的吗?

No, it’s a rectangle. 不,它是长方形的。教rectangle

T: Just now, we learnt three kinds of shapes. Do you still remember?

T:  (出示一正方形彩纸) Look at the paper. What shape is it? Yes, it’s a square.

    (把纸展开) Look carefully. Is it a square? What shape is it?  Good. It’s a rectangle.

T:  Then I’ll show you some pictures.  (PPT分别出示图片)

    What shape is the bag? Good. It’s a rectangle.

    What shape is the kite? Right. It’s a square.

    Look at this picture. What shape is the sun ? Great. It’s a circle.

    And what shape is the moon? You’re right. It’s a circle, too.

T:  OK,let’s go on learning.

    We know the sun is a circle.太阳是圆形的。(PPT出示the sun, 领读)

    The moon is a circle, too. 月亮也是圆形的。(PPT出示the moon, 领读)

T:  Very good. Now let’s talk about these pictures in pairs.(PPT呈现图片)

Now you please say something about the shapes of these things in pairs. You may these sentencesWhat shape is the… ? It’s a … Of course,you can talk about the things around you..

反馈: You two please say thing first. Look at them. 学生示范。

S1: What shape is the sun?

S2: It’s a circle.

T:  明白了吗?请你也来练一练。

(学生互问互答,进行对话,练习时间1分钟)

 

(本步骤设计说明:本部分教师通过向学生展示各种形状的橡皮来呈现新句型What shape is the …? It’s a… 通过问问、答答、说说、画画等形式来操练巩固。比较自然的帮助学生理解本课新知识,减轻后面学习课文的难度。)

 

Step2Learning dialogue

T:  Good. You know some about shapes. How about Miss Li and her students. What are they doing now? Please listen to the tape. (PPT呈现字幕)

       (学生听录音,看字幕)

 

This is an Art lesson. Miss Li is teaching her students about

shapes. The students are learning how to draw them.

 

 

 


T:  OK. Let’s listen again. ( 再放一遍录音)

T:  Understand?

T:  Now , let’s read and judge. (PPT呈现3个判断题) 请你读读这三句话,判断它们是否正确。

Read and judge

1.      It’s an English lesson.                        (     )

2.      Miss Li is teaching her students about music.      (     )

   (学生读句子,讨论并回答,半分钟)

T:  (PPT核对答案, 教师讲解并引出新单词,带读) Have you finished? Let’s check the answers.

T:  Miss Li and her students are talking about shapes. 李老师和学生们正在谈论图形。他们都说了些什么?Let’s watch carefully.

T:  Let’s watch again.

T:  OK. There’s a picture on the blackboard. A boy is flying a kite. Can you fly a kite? (PPT

出示图片和单词:fly, fly a kite, 带读)

T:  Good . The boy is flying a kite. So what shape is the boy’s kite? (PPT出示问题, 稍停,

点出答案:It’s a square.)

T:  The second question: What shape is the boy’s bag? (PPT出示问题,稍停,点出答案:

It’s a rectangle.)

T:  在课堂上,Miss Li想请Liu Tao上来画一个圆。她是怎么对Liu Tao说的呢?

PPT出示)She says: Come to the blackboard and show us how to do it. (教师领读)

T:  那么Liu Tao能办到吗?Can Liu Tao draw a circle? (PPT出示问题,稍停,点出答

Yes, he can.)

T:  Oh, Liu Tao can draw a circle. How about you? Can you draw a circle now?

I think you can. You may have a try after class.

T:  Now, please open your book and turn to page 68. 现在请你把书翻到68页。Let’s read

the dialogue after the tape .我们跟着录音来读课文吧!

T:  Wonderful! Now read the dialogue by yourselves.

(本步骤设计说明:因本课对话内容相对简单,教师在解决语言难点的基础上,通过听

课文录音和引导学生自主阅读两种方式来整体呈现课文内容。通过让学生判断和回答问

题的方式来检测学生对短文的理解,旨在培养学生对课文的整体把握能力。)

Step3: Consolidation

T:  Oh. It’s an interesting lesson, isn’t it? I think you can tell me about their Art lesson. 现在

要请你来描述一下这节有趣的美术课。(PPT呈现短文填空)You may read and try to

complete the short passage.请你根据课文内容,把下面的短文填写完整。

Then you can check your answer in your group. 完成以后,你可以在小组内讨论一下。(学

生完成填空)

T:  OK. Let’s check out the answer. 我们一起来校对答案吧!(PPT8呈现答案)

Miss Li and her students are having an Art lesson. She is teaching them about shapes. The boy in the picture is flying a kite. The kite is a square. His bag is a rectangle.

Liu Tao can draw a circle on the blackboard.

                                                                    

 

 

T:  Ok, in today’s class we learnt something about shapes. Please review after class.

 

五.教后记:

    本节课展现的是在美术课上教学画图形的一段对话,情景并不复杂,句型结构也比

较简单。在课的开头,教师通过呈现各种形状的实物、图片来引入课文的重点难点,帮

助学生学习What shape is the…? It’s a…为后面的课文学习减轻负担。因为该话题与日

常生活中出现的东西密切相关,学生会非常感兴趣,因此,我让学生做了些前置性学习:

在课前多搜集些相关图形的物品,使谈论的内容更丰富。然后整体呈现课文内容,让学

生通过听录音和阅读两种方式来理解课文背景、掌握课文内容。最后通过书面练习,让

学生再次巩固课文。

这样的设计一步一步,层层递进,学生不会感到有困难。
